Reading the Atlas

A map, not
a prescription.

What helps depends on the person, the purpose and the context. The Atlas charts the landscape; practitioners choose the route.

  1. 01

    Understand the approach.

Begin with a plain-language introduction: what it involves and why you might explore it.

  2. 02

    Read the evidence in context.

Look at what changed, for whom and in which settings. Follow the research, its limits and the questions still open.

  3. 03

    Consider the person’s experience.

Choice, dignity and participation matter. Ask what becomes more possible, what the demands are and where risk might move.
